Barcelona agree transfer deal for Konrad

Barcelona and Marseille have reached an agreement over the transfer of winger, Konrad de la Fuente, Mundo Deportivo reports.

The LaLiga giants and the French Ligue 1 side had been negotiating for several days over the transfer of the 19-year-old.

However, there is now a preliminary agreement in place which will be finalised over the coming days.

Marseille will pay around 5 million euros for the youngster, but the distribution of money made from any future sale of the player is yet to be agreed.

Both clubs would split any future profits 50:50 between themselves, which would mean Barcelona would make a tidy profit if Konrad were to leave Marseille in the future.

Konrad made his debut with Barcelona during the 2020/21 season.

But the American is not in Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman’s plans for next season.
