Bandits have reportedly kidnapped some traders traveling to Kano along the dreaded Birnin Gwari-Kaduna road on Wednesday.

It was gathered that the traders’ convoy
was attached by a number of bandits in the morning, who later took them away into the forests.

There was no official confirmation yet from the state or the police as of the time of the filing this report.

However, a local Malam Umaru said the traders were travelling in a convoy of over 20 vehicles with police escort but that their escort went missing.
