Bandits attack Kogi community, abduct woman and her toddler

Armed bandits have abducted a woman and her toddler in Ijalu area of Egbe in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, along the Solid Rock School axis.

 

 

 

The gunmen stormed the community on Wednesday evening June 3, 2026.

 

 

 

The victims have been identified as Mrs. Idowu Kemi Titilayo and her young child.

 

 

 

Sources within the community confirmed the incident, but the exact number of persons kidnapped during the attack has not yet been established as of the time of filing this report.

 

 

 

Community members are calling on security agencies to intensify efforts to secure the release of the victims.
