Bandits Attack Condolence Group on Zamfara Road, Injuring Two Travelers

 

 

 

Two travellers were injured when suspected bandits attacked a group of people returning from a condolence visit along the Gusau-Tsafe road in Zamfara State.

 

 

The incident was disclosed in a post shared on X on Sunday by security analyst Bakatsine.

 

According to the post, the travellers were on their way back from Kaduna after attending a funeral when the armed men ambushed them near Magazu in Tsafe Local Government Area of the state.

 

 

Among those in the group were Imam Ridwan Umar Danau, Mallam Sirinbai and Hassan Musa.

 

Although no one was killed or abducted during the attack, two members of the group sustained gunshot wounds.

 

 

Bakatsine stated that Mallam Sirinbai was shot in the leg, while Hassan Musa suffered gunshot injuries to his arm and leg.

 

The injured victims were taken to the Federal Medical Centre, where they are currently receiving treatment.
