AWGU STUDENTS IDENTIFY WITH LADY FOUND DEAD IN GUTTER AT ENUGU

AS THEY LAMENT HER GRUESOME DEMISE

The Apex Students’ body of Awgu local government area of Enugu state has identified with the lady found dead in a drainage canal in Enugu.

The group, in a condolence statement signed by the SA to Awgu local government area council chairman on student affairs, Okpara Obinna, identified her as late miss Precious Orji, who until her questionable demise, was a HND student of Science laboratory technology at the Institute of science and technology (IMT), hailing from Mmaku town in Awgu local government area.

The deceased, Precious Orji, was found lying lifeless in a canal near roots cafe around presidential road Enugu.

Causes of her death, up until the publication of this report has remained unconfirmed by the Police.

The group however, mourned her sudden demise, urging the appropriate authorities to painstakingly investigate the cause of her death.

The statement made available to the media thus reads;

With deep sorrow and grief, the entire students of Awgu local government Area, regretfully and painfully announce the sudden demise of one of our own, *Miss Precious Orji, who hailed from Mmaku. Until her sudden demise, she was a HND Science Laboratory Technology student of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT).

This sudden demise seems hypothetical as the deceased was found lifeless in a drainage around presidential road Enugu.

As we mourn with Mmaku student leaders under the umbrella body of the apex student body of Awgu LGA(ALGASA), IMT Student leaders and the Avalanche of NANS Enugu state, we also urge that the appropriate body should do the necessary investigation behind cause of this painful demise of our daughter.
