“Awgu Celebrates Its Finest: Chairman Okolo Honours Ogbonia, Udeuhele on Birthdays, Hails Legacy of Leadership and Service”

The Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has extended warm felicitations to two distinguished sons of Awgu, Dr. Alex Chiedozie Ogbonia and Professor Godwin Ikechukwu UdeUhele, on the occasion of their birthdays.

In a goodwill message conveyed through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, the Chairman described the celebrants as exemplary leaders whose contributions to Awgu and society at large remain invaluable and deeply appreciated.

Hon. Okolo commended Dr. Ogbonia for his remarkable record of service, highlighting his roles as a former member of the Enugu State House of Assembly, former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo (Enugu State Chapter), and former Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide. He praised him as a visionary leader and accomplished intellectual whose influence continues to resonate across generations.

The Chairman also paid glowing tribute to Professor UdeUhele, a former Enugu State Commissioner for Information and a renowned Professor of Political Science, noting his enduring impact in academia and public service. He described him as a man of profound knowledge, integrity, and dedication to the advancement of society.

Encouraging both leaders to sustain their commitment to service, Hon. Okolo expressed confidence that their wealth of experience and wisdom would continue to inspire progress and development within Awgu and beyond.

He concluded by offering prayers for long life, good health, and abundant blessings for the celebrants and their families, as they mark another milestone in their lives.
