Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress on Tuesday commended former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha, and Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the APC National Leader, Ahmed Tinubu.

The governors, under the aegis of the Progressive Governors Forum, gave the commendation in two separate statements, one titled, ‘Birthday Felicitation to Distinguished Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha,’ and the other titled, ‘Birthday Felicitation to Senator Oluremi Tinubu.’

Both statements were signed by the Chairman of the PGF, Abubakar Bagudu.

For Okorocha, Bagudu said, “The Progressive Governors Forum joins all Nigerians to celebrate the birthday of Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Orlu zone of Imo State and former Chairman of the PGF on his 58th birthday.

“Under the leadership of our party, we acknowledge your contributions to our team of progressive governors as a founding member of the forum and chairman from November 2013 to May 2019. We also recognise your insightful and resolute inputs to the processes of managing legislation at the Senate chamber.”

The PGF chairman also celebrated Mrs Tinubu on her 60th birthday.

He said, “We acknowledge her contributions to our democratic struggles through her insightful inputs to the processes of party formation and party building, as well as within the Senate chamber. She certainly represents a unifying and rallying point for all.”
