Animation is more than art—it’s a passport to the global creative economy.
With the global animation industry now valued at over $394 billion, Africa is on the rise—and so are the talents shaping that future.
From storytelling and gaming to motion graphics and digital advertising, animation is no longer just a skill—it’s a career path.
And for many young creatives in Enugu, that journey began with the Enugu Magic Labs Animation Training (EMAT) program.
Batch 1 changed lives. Now, Batch 2 is here.
Thanks to the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, and his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and the digital economy, the EMAT program is back—bigger and bolder.
In partnership with Magic City Labs, a subsidiary of the globally renowned MagicLabs Studio, EMAT will train 400+ Enugu-based talents in 2D Illustration and 3D Motion Design.
Led by industry experts whose alumni now work with Netflix, Disney, and top African studios, the training is up to 80% subsidized—ensuring access for all, not just a few.
Exclusively for Enugu State residents
