Anambra: INEC publishes notice for November 6 election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the official notification for the November 6 Anambra governorship election.

The electoral umpire made this known in a statement on Wednesday by Rotimi Oyekanmi, Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu.

The spokesman said the notice can be found at all INEC offices in Anambra.

Two activities will commence from Thursday, June 10 – primaries by parties to nominate their candidates and the collection of nomination forms at the INEC headquarters.

The commission appealed to political platforms to conduct credible and rancour-free primaries in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
