Amaechi Says Buhari’s Administration “100 Times Better” Than Tinubu’s Administration

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared that Nigeria fared far better under former President Muhammadu Buhari than under President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking during an X Space discussion titled Weekend Politics on Saturday, Amaechi lamented the current high cost of living, citing exorbitant electricity bills, diesel costs, and other expenses that he says are crippling businesses and households.

“Buhari’s government is 100 times better than Tinubu’s government. For Christ’s sake, were you dying of hunger? We pay N1 million every week for power—N4 million monthly—plus diesel of about N300,000, feeding, and salaries. How many people can afford that? It wasn’t like this under Buhari,” he stated.

Amaechi, who recently defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), said he would support the party’s presidential candidate if chosen through a free and fair primary.

He also criticized the coastal road project, calling it a platform for corruption, and pledged to implement electoral reforms within his first six months if elected president.

Would you like me to also make a shorter, punchier version for social media posting? That would make it go viral faster.
