AFCON 2025: Super Eagles starting X1 vs Egypt unveiled

Super Eagles head head coach, Éric Chelle has benched some of his key stars for tonight’s third place encounter against the Pharaohs of Egypt.

 

 

Chippa United’s Stanley Nwabali retained his position in goal.

 

Igoh Ogbu comes in for suspended Calvin Bassey in defence, while Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi and Bruno Onyemaechi retain their position in defence.

 

 

Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Samuel Chukwueze will line-up in midfield.

 

Paul Onuachu will lead the attack, and will be supported by Adams Akor and Moses Simon.

 

 

The game will kick-off at 5pm Nigerian time
