ADC Official Accuses Peter Obi of Selfish Ambition After Defection

Deputy Financial Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Oladimeji Fabiyi, has lashed out at the former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Speaking during an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television on Tuesday, Fabiyi said Obi is not a leader who wants to fight for the people but for himself.

He was reacting to the recent defection of Obi from the ADC to the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC.

“Peter Obi is not a man who likes to face challenges; he is not a leader who wants to fight for the people; he wants to fight for himself.

“There was a purpose for it. Now he’s the only one who can say the reason why he left. And I’m happy that he said he didn’t leave because of Atiku Abubakar or David Mark, but because he said he was uncomfortable with certain things,” Fabiyi said.
