A pilgrim from Plateau State, has passed away in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The Executive Secretary of the Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mr. Daiyabu Dauda, confirmed her death in a statement issued to journalists on Tuesday in Jos.

 

According to Dauda, Hajiya Muhammad died on Monday at the King Abdulaziz Hospital in Makkah due to complications arising from diabetes.

 

“When her condition began to worsen, we promptly took her to the hospital for medical attention, in line with our responsibilities,” he said. “Sadly, we lost her, and the attending doctor confirmed that the cause of death was complications from diabetes.”

 

Dauda added that the late pilgrim has been laid to rest in Makkah in accordance with Islamic rites.

 

He extended heartfelt condolences to her immediate family and encouraged them to find comfort in God during this difficult time.
