The Deputy Minority leader House of Representatives, Hon Toby Okechukwu on the 4th of June supported A MOTION ON THE NEED FOR RELEVANT SECURITY AGENCIES TO BRING TO AN END THE SPATE OF OBLIVIOUS KIDNAPPERS ARMED BANDITRY AND KILLINGS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
This is an existential fight for everybody in the country and we have discussed the issue of security severally.
The resolution as requested are comprehensive enough and will be dealt with as they come.
The danger involved in travelling from the other parts of the country to the north is a serious case and our country is in jeopardy.
“The negotiation with bandit with guns on their necks with the governor of a state, is a representation of the situation of a failed state” – He said.
In his speech he mentioned that the parliament and government should get rid of the situation of giving bandits money and yet can’t get people to their homes.
In concluding this motion, Hon. Toby Okechukwu went further to say that the government have to make sure the leadership and members of the parliament be able to visit the theatre of war and fight this terrifying situation the country is currently facing.

Thank you Hon. Toby. This is a nail on the head. There is no Reasonable leadership of any institution that goes into negotiations with thief’s, Armed Robbers, Kidnappers etc. They are rather rid off out of the territory by all possible and forceful means to restore peace and sanity.
