2023: E-transfer will eliminate ‘Greek votes’ says TMG

Electronic transfer of election results will eliminate ‘Greek votes’ in the 2023 general elections in Nigeria, the Delta State Coordinator of Transition Monitoring Group, Edewor Egedegbe, has said.

Egedegbe said the electronic transfer of election results would ensure that thw votes of the people count.

“With the new Electoral Act, particularly the electronic transmission of results, although yet to have the President’s assent, the development spells a good omen for the drive to 2023 general elections.

“With the electronic transmission of results, all is set for the political parties to work hard and win elections creditably without the usual suspicions that characteri.ed past ‘victories’ in the state at all levels of election,” he said.
