2-year-old left with bruises after she was allegedly flogged mercilessly by her teacher for failing to recite the alphabets (photos)

A two-year-old pupil is currently nursing injuries allegedly inflicted on her by her teacher who flogged her mercilessly for failing to recite the Alphabets.

Twitter user @WakaWaka tailor who shared the story online said the school in question is in Maza Maza, Lagos state. He alleged that the teacher said that his niece was not the only one given 24 strokes of the cane and that she will be flogged again if the need arises.

Meanwhile, a team consisting of the Lagos state Ministry of Education (Office of Quality Assurance), Ministry of Justice, and Ministry of Youth and Social Development are already on the matter.
