10,000+ Teachers and 5,000+ Civil Servants Upgraded: Enugu’s Digital Literacy Drive Expands ( photos)

In a bold step toward transforming public service delivery, the Enugu State Government, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has successfully concluded the third batch of the Mandatory Civil Servants Digital Literacy Training Program, hosted at the Enugu State College of Education and Technology (ESCET) and the Human Resources Development Centre (HRC).

This transformative initiative—executed through the Enugu SME Center / Office of Digital Economy under the leadership of Mr. Arinze Chilo-Offiah—continues to build a future-ready workforce across the state. Civil servants were trained in vital digital tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, and cloud-based collaboration, empowering them to deliver smarter, faster, and more transparent services.

This initiative is a direct reflection of His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s bold promise to optimize government performance through technology and innovation. By mandating digital literacy for career advancement and investing in the training of thousands of workers, his administration is delivering on its commitment to build a digitally fluent, highly productive, and citizen-centered civil service. It is yet another clear example of how visionary leadership can accelerate reform and position Enugu as a national model of 21st-century governance.

Special thanks to all delivery partners: FCDO, Tech4Dev, Microsoft, Future Ready Academy Limited, and the tireless team at the Enugu SME Center / Office of Digital Economy, with Ndubuisi Edeh serving as the Team Lead for the Digital Literacy Training Program.

This is how we build the future.
This is how we prove that Tomorrow is Here.
