For their alleged involvement in frauds worth over $6million, the United States has indicted six Nigerians.

In a statement on its website, the US Department of State, said the six persons “manipulated their victims to gain access to their sensitive information and financial resources”.
Today, the United States designated six Nigerian nationals for conducting an elaborate online scheme to steal more than $6 million from victims across the United States. We will defend American businesses and individuals from malicious cyber activities” – He Said
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FIB) named the suspects as Richard Uzuh, Micheal Olorunyomi, Alex Ogunshakin, Felix Okpoh, Nnamdi Benson and Abiola Kayode.






In a final statement by the state secretary he said ”Spoke with Nigerian Foreign Minister @GeoffreyOnyeama today. Underscored that the U.S. stands with Nigeria and all African countries that share our values and our interest in protecting their sovereignty and independence as we respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
