An Enugu based youth group under the Aegis of Enugu West youth peace forum has scheduled to host it’s pioneer summit on June 4th, 2021.

The group which is being chaired by Comrade Ebube Samuel Nebo has set the summit to be held at De Dome event center, Enugu.

The Summit which is themed “Awakening the leadership consciousness of the youths towards positioning to take over”, is aimed at appreciating the leaders and representatives of Enugu for excellent governance as well as qualitative representation

It is also targeted at reminding the youths of the gains of active involvement in politics towards national development.

Nebo, Speaking to UGAMATV’s correspondent said, “For us to actually attain the Nigeria and Enugu of our dream, there must be a shift from the status quo, this can only be realised by the active involvement of youths in politics. When our youthful energy is channeled towards the rightly set goal, we will become unstoppable and formidable. Our Governor has ensured that he runs a peaceful and youth-inclusive Government, these are great feats worthy of emulation”

Secretary of the group, Ozo Okwu Nnabuike had concurred, by saying, “Our Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and able representatives have given us first hand leadership, they have clearly portrayed impeccable leadership qualities. It’s now left for us to emulate and practice for prosterity’s sake.”

Dignitaries set to grace the event includes, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, A former Deputy president of the Senate, Sen. Prof. Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Minority leader, house of representatives, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu, House of representatives member representing Udi and Ezeagu Federal Constituency, Hon. Amadi Dennis Oguerinwa, Enugu Commissioner for youths and sports, Hon. Tony Manfred Nzekwe, amongst others.
