UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Steps Down From Office

UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer has resigned from office as both Prime Minister and leader of the Labour Party.
He announced his resignation in a statement outside 10 Downing Street on Monday, saying his decisions in office were guided by the interest of the country.

Every decision I have made has been about putting the country I love first,” he said.

Starmer also used the moment to thank his family.

He described his wife, Vic, as his rock, and expressing love for his children, whom he called his pride and joy.
