Tinubu to Visit Benue State Amid Criticism Over Response to Crisis

 

President Bola Tinubu says he will clear his schedule to pay a condolence visit to the people of Benue State on Wednesday.

This follows attacks in Yelewata community, Guma Local Government Area of the state, where about 250 people were killed by suspected herdsmen.

UGAMATV reports that Tinubu has been criticized by Nigerians over his poor response to the Benue crisis.

Several Nigerians have questioned his failure, up till now, to visit the troubled area.
