Rangers FC Unveils Plans to Launch Women’s Team

Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Rangers have concluded plans to float a women’s teams.

The team will be called Rangers International Women.

The new side’s participation in the Nigeria Women’s Football League next season will be determined after fulfilling all the requirements needed by the league body.

“Yes, I can confirm that machinery is in motion to get a women’s team,” Rangers media director, Norbert Okolie told Journalist.

“Their participation in the NWFL will be determined by paper works”

Ugamatv recalls that Rangers partnered with Green Foot Ladies in their bid to meet CAF’s requirements to participate in the Champions League last year.

The former NPFL champions provide comprehensive support to Green Foot Ladies to foster the growth and development of female football in the community.
