TrackaNG, a community of active citizens tracking the implementation of government projects in their localities, has drawn the attention of Enugu State Government to an allegedly “abandoned” primary healthcare facility in its domain.

Tracka was created in 2014 to track the implementation of government projects in various communities to ensure service delivery.

The NGO says it enables citizens to collaborate, track and give feedback on public projects in their community, and, is itself, a project by BudgITng.

In a tweet via its verified Twitter handle @TrackaNG on Saturday, TrackaNG stated, “This is the terrible state of an abandoned PHC in Amafor community, Ugbawka, Nkanu East LGA, Enugu State.

TrackaNG claims that the dilapidated facility is “Still in use,” stating that it needs to be completed, equipped and staffed to enable the community to have full access.

“Needs: Completion, equipment and staff. We urge you to direct the relevant authorities to do the needful now,” TrackaNG states.

It called on the Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, to attend to the issue.
