Osimhen Rejects Saudi Pro League’s Big Bucks, Eyes Top-Flight European Football

Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected the chance to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal amid interest from several Premier League clubs.

The 26-year-old is expected to leave Napoli but a potential deal to join Al-Hilal is on the verge of collapse as he couldn’t agree on terms with the Saudi club, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Saudi club made the official bid of €70 million to Napoli on Thursday to sign Osimhen. The proposal was worth €65m fixed fee plus €5m add-ons and they were ready to offer the Super Eagles striker €30m salary per year.

The Nigerian International, currently on loan from Napoli, lit up the Super Lig at Galatasaray last season, scoring 25 goals and providing five assists in 29 games for the Turkish giants.

He is set to return to the Italian club this summer, where his contract expires in 2026.
