“I believe that issues pertaining to the environment is very important in this country, if we go back, you will appreciate that Nigeria is presently suffering from  the consequences of the impact on our environment.”

“Talking about farmers, people who are engaged in animal husbandry, herders etc. The massive migration are all related to the environment. We need to pay serious attention, if we do not indirectly undermine it. This a good principle.”

“The point is that it is important that we align it with other existing structures, because from all indications, the source of the funding is tax.  Then we need to ascertain from which way is this ecological fund, functioning. There needs to be a realignment.”

“If the source of funding had been ecological funding, it would have been very prudent. There isn’t a clear modus operandi for the ecological fund. During interrogation, there is no act to fine the man’s construction on the face, until it is unbowelled, unveiled. It should be interrogated because the issue of environment needs to be taken seriously in Nigeria.
