Musa Returns to Super Eagles Fold, Seeks Nigerian Support

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has urged Nigerians to continue to support Eric Chelle’s men as they prepare to take on Ghana in a Unity Cup tie on Wednesday, in London.

The match will take place at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, United Kingdom.

“Yeah, we know that a lot of Nigerians are, I would say, very disappointed in the Super Eagles,” Musa told the Super Eagles media team in London.

“But I will always call on them to just keep on supporting us because that is what we need right now.

“Their support will have a very big impact on us.”

Musa currently plays for Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The 32-year-old is making a return to the national team after an extended absence.

“Yeah, for me, I am always happy whenever I get a call-up,” the former Leicester City star added.
