May Edochie’s Lawyer Gives Update on Divorce Proceedings

The lawyer representing May Edochie, Emeka Ugwuonye, has issued a statement regarding the ongoing divorce proceedings between May and her husband, Yul Edochie.

In his statement, Ugwuonye addressed public curiosity about the timeline for the finalization of the divorce, saying, “Many of you are fixated on when the divorce will be final. But that’s not the only issue in court. People ignore the fact that we’ve already resolved issues like custody and property sharing.”

He further clarified May’s current status, stating, “May is not in any form of bondage because the divorce isn’t finalized. She’s free to live her life, and remarrying is not even a priority for her right now.”

The lawyer noted that the remaining steps involve the formal dissolution of the marriage and pursuing damages from Judy Austin, with whom Yul Edochie committed adult£ry.
