Many feared dead in Enugu auto crash

Many persons have reportedly died in an accident on Saturday on Ekulu Bridge along Enugu – Abakaliki road in Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The accident which occurred in the morning involved two trucks and a bus.

Eyewitnesses told our correspondent that no fewer than seven people died in the accident while about five who sustained varies degrees of injury were rushed to Annunciation Specialist Hospital.

When contacted on the telephone, the Enugu Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Joseph Uduaba, told our correspondent that details of the crash were not reported to the command.

He, however, said he sent a team to the scene of the incident.
