Lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, shares his experience at the Bola Tinubu ICC that was recently refurbished with N39b

Lawyer/activist, Deji Adeyanju, has decried the alleged poor state of the Bola Tinubu International Conference Center ICC that was recently refurbished with N39 billion.

In June, President Tinubu commissioned the ICC that was renovated by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike. The ICC which was built in 1991 by the Babangida regime, was then renamed the Bola Tinubu International Conference Center. It was reported that a whooping N39 billion was spent on the renovation.

Wike at a press conference recently claimed that the ICC is now generating as much as N700 million since it was renovated.

In a post shared on X today July 20, Adeyanju said he attended a birthday party in the facility and was sad at the state of the place. According to him, the air conditioners were not working and that he is convinced that even “N5 billion was not put into the place for repairs.”
