Lautaro to Barcelona is close

As Lautaro Martinez moves ever closer to a switch from Inter to Barcelona, Victor Blanco – the president of the forward’s former club, Racing Club de Avellaneda – has hinted that he thinks a deal could be imminent.

The Argentine side would receive part of the fee after selling the forward to Inter in 2018.
“I have the feeling that Lautaro Martinez’s transfer to Barcelona is close to the white smoke stage, although I haven’t spoken to him recently,” he told Radio La Plata, referring to the white smoke that is released when the pope is selected.
“Whatever the fee is, it’ll be welcome.
“When we sold Lautaro to Inter, we had the idea to keep a percentage on any future sale.
“We decided to gamble on the future without knowing what would happen or when.
