It was a moment of joy, gratitude, and spiritual reflection on Sunday as family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the dedication and thanksgiving service of baby Munachimso Zuriel Ikwuka, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ejike Ikwuka.

The ceremony commenced with a solemn thanksgiving Mass at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where prayers were fervently offered for the child’s protection, growth, and a prosperous future. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude as congregants joined the family in appreciating God for the gift of a new life.

Speaking after the service, the proud parents expressed heartfelt appreciation to God for the safe arrival of their son and extended their gratitude to all who came to celebrate with them, describing the occasion as a memorable milestone for the family.

In his remarks, the grandfather of the child, High Chief Sir IDE Jonah Alachunam Ikwuka, expressed profound joy and thanksgiving, noting that the birth of the child is a testament to God’s enduring blessings upon the family. He offered prayers for the child’s future and urged the parents to remain steadfast in their faith and commitment to godly upbringing.

Also speaking, the grandmother, Lady Regina Ikwuka, thanked God for the safe delivery and emphasized the importance of raising the child in the fear of the Lord. She noted that such values had shaped the life of the child’s father and prayed for continued blessings, peace, and prosperity for the entire family.

The father’s brothers, Engr. Ikwuka Okechukwu and Chief Dr. Sir Linus Chukwudi Ikwuka, also expressed gratitude to God for the new addition to the family. They offered prayers for the child’s wellbeing and charged the parents to nurture him in the knowledge and fear of God.

Other dignitaries who spoke with Ugama TV, including Chief Nnanna Nze, Chief Sir Martins Agu, Chief Romanus Chukwudi Oformata, and Mr. Chidi Oha, described the birth as a divine blessing and congratulated the family. They prayed for God’s wisdom and grace upon the parents as they raise the child.
