This is how I make mine, I try not to fry too much. My stew comes out really nice and you should try it.
These are the ingredients you will need.
Fresh tomatoes, fresh pepper, onions, garlic, ginger, salt, Maggi, chicken, crayfish, and scent leaves.
Blend your tomatoes with little onion and pepper and pour into a clean pot and boil till the water dries. Steam your chicken with salt, maggi, ginger and garlic.
Once the extra water in the tomatoes dries and your chicken is steamed, then get a frying pan and pour your groundnut oil.
Let it get hot then add lots of onions and blended crayfish, let it fry for just two minutes, and then pour it inside the tomatoes, and put the tomatoes back on fire.
Allow it to boil very well and then add the chicken stock. If the salt is not enough then add a little.
The last thing you add is your chicken, once the stew is almost done and smell really good already, add the chicken and scent leave.
Let it cook for 5 minutes and then take the pot down.
This way, you did not fry the tomatoes so everything is still fresh, this method is the best thing that has ever happened to my kitchen.
I came up with this method right in my kitchen, i have never seen it anywhere and it works.
You should try it.
