On December 3rd, 2025, the Chairman of Alachara Village, Mgbowo, Mr. Nnanna Jude Udeogu, alongside members of his executive, paid me a visit to passionately seek my support for the village community security outfit. During the engagement, they highlighted pressing security challenges facing the community, ranging from frequent house burglaries to the growing menace of youth involvement in hard drugs and other social vices.

 

In response to this appeal, I made a firm commitment to support the community with essential security devices to strengthen their capacity to protect lives and property.

 

Today, I fulfilled that promise by donating a set of security equipment to the Alachara community security outfit. The donated items include six (6) pairs of walkie-talkies, a solar-powered generator to ensure constant charging of the devices, two (2) sets of Solar powered CCTV cameras, a pair of multifunction self-defense devices, among others.

 

This intervention is my modest contribution to enhancing security in Alachara Village, and I remain committed to doing more as we monitor their performance and witness a tangible reduction in criminal activities within the community.

 

I also made deliberate efforts to formally introduce them to the DPO, Awgu Divisional Headquarters, Officer Anagor Chinedu, to ensure effective cooperation and synergy with the security outfit.

 

The donation was made in the presence of Mrs. Nnanna Jude Udeogu (Chairman), Chief Okibe Donatus (Secretary), Ndubuisi Onuigbo (PRO), and Ndubuisi Akachukwu (Member).

 

This gesture will also be extended to other villages in Mgbowo to ensure effective collaboration across the board.

 

Together, we will continue to work towards a safer and more secure Alachara village.
