Security analyst and counter insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, has raised an alarm over a violent mentally unstable man popularly referred to as “KB,” who roams the streets of Tudun Wadza and PZ Sabon Gari areas of Zaria, Kaduna state, attacking residents with dangerous weapons and demanding money.

 

 

 

In a public safety alert he issued on Monday, September 8, 2025, Makama, called on relevant authorities to urgently take appropriate steps to ensure his safe removal from the street.

 

 

 

 

According to the security analyst, the man usually becomes aggressive and attacks passersby when they refuse to give him money.

 

 

 

 

“Members of the public are hereby alerted about a mentally unstable man, popularly referred to as “KB,” who roams between Tudun Wadza and PZ Sabon Gari areas in Zaria, Kaduna state,” he wrote.

 

 

 

“He is reported to harass passersby, demanding money or items. When refused, he becomes violent and attacks people, often striking them on the head with dangerous objects. We call on the authorities to urgently take appropriate steps to ensure his safe removal from the streets, both to protect the community and to provide him with necessary medical attention.”

 

 

 

Meanwhile, some residents of Zaria claimed that the man has k!lled three people so far.

 

 

 

According to one of the residents, he killed a young man just last month.
