GREATER AWGU YOUTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY CONFER EKWEREMADU PATRON OF THE ASSEMBLY

The leadership of Greater Agwu General Assembly , led by Comr. Okolie Valentine Ebuka on the 26th of September 2021 had an interactive session with the three term consecutive deputy senate president, federal republic of Nigeria, the speaker ECOWAS parliament and senator representing Enugu West Senatorial District, Dist. Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, CFR (Ikeoha Ndi Igbo).

The youths commended the Sen. Ike Ekweremadu for his outstanding leadership and strong voice as a senator to his constituents, and in the country at large, and also thanked him for lending a voice on the possible solutions to the IPOB sit at home in south East.

Comr. Valentine hailed Ekweremadu’s infrastructural development in Enugu West and his Ikeoha Foundation Scholarship and Adult literacy programme which has helped many adults get educated and given them hope, also stating that Ekweremadu is their father whom they love as he have demonstrated leadership at different levels.

Ekweremadu in reaction to their conferment on him as Patron of Greater Awgu Youth General Assembly thanked the leadership of Greater Awgu Youth General Assembly and said he is ever poised to keep delivering on his campaign promises. He went further to express his hope to create more opportunities for young persons in Greater Awgu and Enugu West Senatorial Zone as a senator, while also recounting his achievements as a senator of Enugu West Senatorial district, stating that he remains the only senator since the inception of the zone that has done project beyond his senatorial zone.
