Uche Okolo, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, attended several People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ward meetings yesterday, fostering a sense of hope and enthusiasm among party faithful. The gatherings, held across  Ihe, Awgu Ward 1, Awgu Ward 2, and Agbogugu, were not merely political meetings but celebrations of progress, unity, and shared vision for the future of Enugu State.

The agricultural sector has also seen a renaissance, with the introduction of expansive Farm Estates that not only bolster food security but also create jobs and stimulate the local economy.

Hon. Okolo emphasized the impressive growth in Enugu’s GDP, attributing it to the Governor’s visionary leadership and strategic projects. He noted initiatives such as the Enugu Urban Renewal Project, which enhances infrastructure and beautifies urban spaces, and the Enugu Health Initiative, aimed at improving healthcare access for all citizens. These projects, he stated, are just the beginning of a transformative journey for the state.

As he spoke, the room resonated with applause and shouts of encouragement, reflecting the unwavering support for both Hon. Okolo and Governor Mbah. He expressed gratitude to the party faithful for their relentless dedication, assuring them that their support would not go unnoticed. “Together, we will continue to build a better Awgu and a more prosperous Enugu State,” he declared, his voice filled with conviction.
