Gov Alia: Benue Workers’ Welfare Remains My Priority

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has commended workers in the state for their contributions to governance and development, describing them as vital to the state’s ongoing transformation.

In a press statement issued on Friday to mark the annual Workers’ Day, the governor said the occasion provides an opportunity to celebrate the dedication and importance of workers in both the state and the country.

He noted that Benue workers have made significant contributions to progress across key sectors, aligning with his administration’s seven-point development agenda known as SACHIIP.

The framework focuses on security, agriculture and rural development, commerce and industry, human capital development, infrastructure, ICT and governance.
