In a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday night, September 14, the artist wrote:

 

“Football bet no be work bro. Please stop before they finish you.

Sports betting has become a booming industry in Nigeria, with young people often seeing it as a quick way to make money in the face of unemployment and economic hardship. However, stories of addiction, financial ruin, and broken relationships continue to rise.
