Enugu State has officially launched Project Turing, an ambitious digital workforce development initiative aimed at positioning the state as a global outsourcing hub.
Driven by the Enugu SME Center and the Office of Digital Economy, under the visionary leadership of Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, and in partnership with Turing Tech, the programme offers world-class Full Stack Software Engineering training and guaranteed global job placements — all from Enugu.
For a commitment fee of ₦400,000, participants will undergo 12 months of elite training benchmarked to international standards, receive mentorship from industry leaders, and secure remote or hybrid tech roles earning a minimum of $1,500 (₦2.4 million) monthly upon completion.
In the first year, graduates will earn approximately ₦1,066,666 monthly while repaying training and placement fees. From the second year onward, earnings are projected to rise to ₦2,280,000 monthly, with potential for further growth based on performance.
According to Arinze Chilo-Offiah, Special Adviser to the Governor on Digital Economy and MSMEs and Director-General of the Enugu SME Center, Project Turing is “more than training — it’s an outsourcing revolution designed to curb the ‘Japa’ syndrome by bringing global opportunities directly to our talented youth in Enugu.”
Applications are now open via www.enugusme.en.gov.ng/ettp, with full programme details available at bit.ly/ETTPFAQs.
