Association of Enugu car dealers in Enugu has started positioning  former deputy senate president  senator Ike Ekweremadu as the next Gubernatorial candidate of Enugu state  come 2023 general election .

The group stated this when they paid a courtesy  visit to the senator urging him to please consider the idea of running for Governorship  position  come 2023 even if he does not have the intention  to do so 

The leader of the team and Chairman of the association, Mr Afam Ugada , thanked the distinguished Senator  for receiving  them and also pleaded that  he please consider their  request of becoming the next Governor of the state stressing that he the right candidate who have been  Tested & Trusted  With Massive Experience to  go for the people  of Enugu west Senatorial districts. 

“We have come to ask you to please come out in 2023  to represent  us, we want you to be there even  if you do not have the intention, you don’t have the mind of that, we the Enugu  car dealers are asking you for that because we all know that you are  the man who knows the job and you will do well .We are solidly behind you” they stated.

In response, Senator Ekweremadu expressed  joy over the visit  stating that it is people  like them that he want to stand by him to achieve  his goals

 

Stressing  that ” your work is to see that we succeed  to go in  then is left for me to change the nature of your business  not just for your own good but for the good of everyone

 “I will like to partner with you people, I have heard why you came,  am very greatful and i pray that God will help and it will work out

He added that “we won’t start without  God’s consent and approval .How it will happen to show that God has approved of it is that  he will give us people  that will support us. It is God  that sent you here and that is  why even if you want to run away, God will  not allow you to run

“Am  not going to border you with what we will do if we become Governor but  you will find out at the appropriate time   

“I will talk about what concerns your Industry that you are in today, 

“You sell motor  right? Do you know you  can produce  motor,   if am a governor, in three years you will start producing  cars in Enugu .

“There is nobody   producing  motor in Enugu,  it is only  Assembly  plant  that people do, just like this  people will produce  engine,  the other people will produce  door likewise  glasses, tires, batteries. If we have five Assembly  plants in Enugu here, no body will be looking for jobs 

“Just like China’s  law is that you can not  produce a car , every person has one thing to produce at a time , you can not produce  more than one thing  and those  people by law will supply  to you and you must buy  from them because you cannot produce for yourself, 

“The idea is to distribute  wealth among  everybody  so we don’t have   to wait for government  to appoint you as  excutive assistance  or special assistance  and in such positions, you cannot be promoted  but as a  manger of a company, promotion  is sure .

“When you hear japan, this is type of things that happens there , so the fact that you sell car gives you the advantage  because you know the parts of car you sell so if you are asked to Assembly  a car, you already know what to do

“That is is the kind of innovation i  will bring into every sector because  our focus  will be on job creation .If there are jobs, you will not see thugs to hire for any unhealthy  activities”

“We need to think big and is all this  factories can take all this unemployed  youths  saying they are IPOB or ESN  because  they  don’t  have work, the kidnappers  , only this industry  can take all of them” he stated.
