Daura Residence Becomes Final Resting Place as Nation Prepares to Honor Buhari

 

Final preparations for the burial of former President Muhammadu Buhari has commenced at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.

While dignitaries are arriving the residence of the former President, some men have been seen digging Buhari’s grave ahead of his final internment.

The site of Buhari’s final internment is a garden inside his compound in Daura.

Buhari, who was a former military Head of State and democratically elected President, died in a London clinic on Sunday.

President Bola Tinubu subsequently sent Vice President Kashim Shettima to London to repatriate Buhari’s remains back to Nigeria.

The entourage and the corpse are expected to arrive any moment from now.
