Court has odered the remaned of One Miracle Sunday Akpan aged 25 who hail from Akwa ibom and one Queendaline Udoh aged 61 who is the grandmo to the victim a native of Imezi-Owa in Ezeagu LGA, in the Nigerian correctional center for allegedly defiling of a 7 year old girl in Enugu

Queendaline Udoh who is the the grandmother to the victim , also residing at Ugwuabor Abakpa Nike Enugu with his co suspects was said to have been in the habit of exploiting the minor for financial gains by giving her out to men for unlawful carnal knowledge, aiding him in the act.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu, psc who spoke through his public relations officer ASP DANIEL NDUKWE, Anipr said Miracle Sunday, was initially arrested by Neighbourhood Watch Group, but re-arrested on 16/06/2021 by Operatives of the Command attached to Abakpa Police Division, with the victim rescued and handed over to Enugu State Ministry of Gender Affairs and Social Department.
The the case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (or State CID for short) for thorough investigation and prosecution of the suspects on the order of the Commissioner of Police .
Following this development, suspects were on Tuesday charged by Court to remanded in Nigerian Correctional Service Custody, pending further hearing of the case, following the swift concluded investigation into the case.
To this end, the Commissioner of Police therefore entreated parents/guardians to endeavour to train their children/wards with care, fear of God and uphold their fundamental human rights.
