The House of representatives committee on review of the 1999 constitution will begin its two-day South-east Zonal public hearing for Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra states on Tuesday, 1st June 2021 at the Base Event center Enugu, running through Wednesday 2nd June 2021.
The public hearing is aimed at inculcating and ensuring the participation of stakeholders in the process of altering and reviewing the constitution of the Federal republic of Nigeria.
UGAMATV gathered that the Deputy Minority leader, House of representatives Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu, will be leading the committee to the event which is scheduled to commence at 10am daily.
Invitations are hereby extended to the executive Governors of Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi states, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Willie Obiano and Dave Umahi respectively.
As well as Members of the respective state house of Assemblies, Judiciary representatives, traditional institutions, Civil Societies, organizations, Political parties, Nigerian Union of Journalists, Nigerian Labour Congress, Ethnic nationalities in the three states and other critical stake holders.
