“Are You Insane?”: Actress Wumi Toriola’s Furious Reaction to Influencer Enioluwa’s Informal Greeting

 

 

 

Nigerian actress, Wumi Toriola, has rebuked popular influencer, Enioluwa for calling her by her name.

 

 

The incident, which was captured in a now trending video on social media, happened at an event held in Lagos State on Saturday evening.

 

Wumi Toriola was seen exchanging pleasantries with actress Ini Edo, and Eniola Ajao when Enioluwa said “Wumi how are you?” as he attempted to hug her.

 

In response, the actress who was angered by how she was addressed, pushed Enioluwa back and asked “are you insane? did you just call my name? How dare you call me by my name?

 

Enioluwa immediately replied “No no I didn’t say that. I said aunty Wumi how are you?”

 

Expressing her anger, the actress said “you can’t greet me like that, you will have to prostrate to greet me. We are not mates.”

 

The viral video sparked mixed reactions online with many people supporting Wumi’s action while some said “Wunmi get problem with aunty.”

 

Reacting to the public reaction, Wumi wrote on her Instagram story; “I saw people debating my age. Nor be everyone ise de gbo ooo. Na all my family get baby face. I finished secondary school in 2003. Do d maths. 16 nor dey enter uni that time.”

 

Ugamatv reports that Enioluwa was born in July 1999 while Wumi was born in July 1988 according to Wikipedia.
