Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is mourning the loss of his mother, Jackie Bezos, who has died at the age of 78.

 

 

 

According to Daily Mail, Jackie passed away at her home in Miami after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Jeff revealed she died surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and husband.

 

 

 

 

“I know she felt our love in those final moments. We were all so lucky to be in her life. I hold her safe in my heart forever,” he wrote.

 

 

 

 

The Bezos Scholars Program also paid tribute, describing Jackie as a woman of grit, kindness, and deep love for family, who found immense joy in watching her family grow.

 

 

 

Jackie had been diagnosed in 2020, with her husband Mike remaining by her side throughout the illness.
