3MTT Sensitization Drive Hits NYSC Secretariats in Awgu and Enugu East

In line with the vision of His Excellency, *Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah*, to build a digitally inclusive economy, the Enugu SME Center took the Enugu Tech Talent (ETT) Program, a partnership with Federal Ministry of Communications Innovation and Digital Economy (FMCIDE) on the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Program directly to the grassroots—engaging corps members at both the NYSC Secretariat in Awgu and the NYSC Secretariat in Enugu East.

The reception was overwhelmingly positive. From the vibrant halls of Enugu East to the quiet strength of Awgu, corps members listened with enthusiasm as the team shared how the federally-backed program offers free training in globally relevant tech skills such as Software Development, Product Design, Cybersecurity, Data Analysis, Cloud Computing, and more.

For many, this wasn’t just another government program—it was a golden opportunity to launch a tech career during their NYSC year, completely tuition-free.

*Obinna Nwachukwu*, a corps member in Awgu, said:
“I never imagined I could begin my tech journey in a rural location like this. Knowing this is government-approved gives me hope.”

*Adaeze Umeadi*, a corps member attached to Enugu East, shared:
“With these skills, I can work from anywhere—even after NYSC. This is a rare chance to change my future.”

We deeply appreciate the leadership and cooperation of both NYSC secretariats in Awgu and Enugu East for making this outreach a success.

The future of work is digital—and with 3MTT, our youth won’t be left behind.
