
Late Mrs. Eunice Ukaamaka Ude Onuora, fondly known as Agha Ego, has been laid to rest at the age of 92 amid glowing tributes, rich cultural displays, and an overwhelming outpouring of condolences from family, in-laws, friends, and well-wishers.
The burial ceremony, held on Friday, April 10, 2026, attracted a large gathering of mourners who converged to celebrate the life of a woman widely described as a pillar of strength, peace, and unity within her family and community.
Born in 1933, the nonagenarian was celebrated for her deep Christian faith, strong moral values, and unwavering commitment to family and communal harmony, leaving behind a legacy that many say will continue to endure for generations.
Speaking on behalf of the family, elder Ambrose Ude Onuora described the deceased as a virtuous and compassionate woman, praying for the repose of her soul while expressing deep appreciation to all who stood by the family throughout the period of mourning.
In an interview with UGAMA TV, her son Moses Ude Onuora, daughter Anayfulugo Onwuka, son-in-law Ubaka Onwuka, and granddaughter Precious Onwuka paid emotional tributes, describing her as a peaceful, prayerful, and loving matriarch who lived a fulfilled and exemplary life.
They also expressed gratitude to sympathizers for their support, solidarity, and presence during the burial rites.
