Time Frame For Tinubu’s Policy Results Unknown – APC Chieftain

The National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Felix Morka, has said that he does not have an idea on when president Bola Tinubu’s policies would start yielding results.

Morka made this statement on Thursday while fielding questions from journalists at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

Nigerians have been groaning over high level of unemployment, poverty, hunger, insecurity, high cost of living and other challenges.

Recall that during a national summit of the All Progressives Congress, APC, last week, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje; Imo State governor and Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, PGF, Hope Uzodinma, among others said Tinubu’s policies were already yielding positive results.

“The child is crawling. Now, I don’t know what age. I can’t say. “I think it varies from one child to the other. Some kids are faster than others. So they crawl quicker than some. But irrespective of the time they crawl, they crawl. Children crawl and children are meant to crawl before they walk.

“So, I don’t think it’s an assessment of whether a child who is crawling is doing well. A child who is crawling is doing exactly what a child is expected to do, to crawl before they walk. So if a child is crawling, actually, if that’s your child, I think you should encourage the child to crawl,” he said.

On fuel subsidy, the APC spokesman said all the presidents who came before Tinubu preferred to simply postpone the doomsday.

According to him, Tinubu removed subsidies on fuel in the overall interest of the nation.

He refuted the claims that the APC has started a campaign for the President’s re-election, stressing endorsement of the President is not a campaign.

Speaking on insecurity, Morka described it as a global phenomenon, saying that it was a challenge facing Nigeria for the last 20 years.
