Muslim Cleric, Sheik Gumi, has asked the Federal government to call US President and demand for him to retract his comments on a Christian genocide in Nigeria and that failure to do so, Nigeria should severe all ties with the US government.

 

 

 

In a now viral video, the Islamic cleric said

 

‘’The best thing is for Nigeria to warn the President of America and tell him to retract his threat, because it is a direct threat and even ordering the pentagon to be ready to attack Nigeria. For what?! The President should retract such statement or else we severe our relationship with America.

 

There are a lot of Christians who know that the narrative is wrong, It is a misrepresentation of the reality on ground. Many Christians know that. Nigeria should reciprocate whatever the tune of Trump’s allegations are”

 

This comes days after the US President declared Nigeria a ‘’Country of Concern’ on grounds that there is a Christian genocide going on in the country.
