Mbah Has Taken Enugu to Greater Heights”: Awgu Council Chairman Hails Dr. Kingsley Udeh’s Ministerial Nomination

The Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Okolo, has joined the growing list of leaders and citizens across Enugu State in celebrating the nomination of Hon. (Dr.) Kingsley Udeh, Enugu State’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, for appointment as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a congratulatory message issued through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, Hon. Okolo described the nomination as a well-deserved recognition of competence, excellence, and integrity, noting that it also stands as a powerful endorsement of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s visionary leadership.

“This appointment is not just a personal victory for Dr. Kingsley Udeh; it is a proud moment for the entire people of Enugu State,” Okolo said. “Governor Peter Mbah’s transformational leadership and strategic engagement at the national level have taken Enugu to greater heights and restored our state’s voice in the national conversation.”

The Awgu Council Chairman praised Dr. Udeh’s distinguished service as Attorney-General, describing him as “a refined legal mind, a man of depth and discipline, whose intellect and commitment to public service have earned him national recognition.”

“Dr. Udeh has demonstrated uncommon brilliance, loyalty, and capacity in the discharge of his duties. His nomination by the President is both a reward for merit and a reflection of the renewed confidence in the quality of leadership emerging from Enugu under Governor Mbah,” Okolo added.

He further commended Governor Mbah for his strategic leadership, reforms, and deliberate efforts to reposition Enugu as a hub of excellence, stressing that the state is now “firmly on the path of national relevance and accelerated development.”

“Governor Mbah has proven that leadership anchored on vision, innovation, and results can transform not just systems, but perceptions. Today, Enugu State is respected nationwide because of the quality of leadership it projects,” the council boss stated.

Hon. Okolo extended warm congratulations and prayers to Dr. Kingsley Udeh, expressing confidence that he would bring honour to the state and further strengthen Enugu’s partnership with the Federal Government.

“We are proud of Dr. Udeh’s journey and confident that he will distinguish himself in this new national assignment. His appointment symbolizes hope, competence, and a new chapter of service for Enugu and Nigeria,” Okolo concluded.
